Getting In and What It Costs
Do I need a ticket just to hang out?
Nope. At a free public event the Field is free to wander into, no ticket, no cover, just come on through the gates. Ticketed events list their prices on their event pages.
If a ticketed event is on, can I still get in and use Field Bar?
Yes. Part of the field and Field Bar stay open even when a ticketed event is happening.
How much do events cost?
Every event sets its own price, and it's listed right on the event page. If you don't see a price, it's free.
Can I leave and come back on a ticketed night?
At most Jubilee-hosted events, yes, re-entry is allowed. Events run by outside promoters set their own re-entry rules, so check the event page for those nights.
Do kids need a ticket for ticketed events?
It depends on the event, and each event page spells out its own kid policy. When in doubt, the event page is the truth.
What if an event gets cancelled? Do I get a refund?
If we cancel a Jubilee-hosted ticketed event, you get a refund. Events run by outside promoters follow that promoter's policy, which lives on the event page.
Hours and Weather
What days and hours are you open?
Thursday 5 to 11 PM, Friday 5 PM to 1 AM (House of Untz holds Friday nights right now), Saturday noon to midnight, and Sunday 3 PM to 9 PM.
Are you open year-round?
About 44 weeks a year. When the field takes its winter nap, we'll say so here and on socials.
What happens if it rains?
Rain or shine, we adapt. Events proceed unless we announce otherwise, and food trucks and bands make their own weather calls, so any changes get posted on the site and our socials.
Is there shade?
Yes, mature trees keep a good stretch of the field cool, and the Galerie has a covered patio. More shade is coming soon, stay tuned.
Getting Here
Where are you?
529 E Burnett Ave, Louisville, KY 40217. The Galerie has its own entrance next door at 537.
Where do I park?
We have an on-site lot, plus street parking on E Burnett and Meriwether. Our neighbors live here, so please leave driveways clear and keep the late-night goodbyes gentle.
Is there bike parking?
Plenty. We've got three quarters of an acre and a whole lot of fence to lock up to.
Are you open during the I-65 work?
Yes, fully open. Tap "Avoid Highways" in your maps app and the surface streets will bring you right to us.
Kids and Ages
Are kids welcome?
Yes, until 8 PM every operating night the Field is family-friendly. After 8 PM everyone must be 21+ with a valid ID, unless the event is specifically designated family-friendly.
Do kids need a grown-up?
Guests under 21 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Consider it a team outing.
Can my kid sit anywhere?
Tables, yes. The bar top is for the 21-and-up crowd.
Dogs
Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs. Well-behaved, leashed pups are welcome on the concrete areas and in the dog zone east of Field Bar, between Field Bar and the Galerie.
Where does my dog... go?
The dog zone between Field Bar and the Galerie is also the potty spot. Please clean up after your pup, every time.
Why can't dogs be on the rest of the grass?
Sanitation for the humans, plain and simple. People picnic on that grass, so paws stay on the concrete and in the dog zone.
Can dogs come inside Field Bar?
Yes, leashed dogs are welcome inside Field Bar too. Some events set their own dog rules, so check the event page on big nights.
Food, Drink and Paying
Is there food?
Always something. We currently have Zest Meals, part of Feed Louisville. Keep an eye out on the schedule for food trucks! Field Bar has its own kitchen where menu development is on the way!
Who's cooking this week?
The /food page keeps the truck lineup fresh, along with the events calendar.
I don't drink. What's for me?
A real NA menu, made with the same care as everything else behind the bar. You won't be stuck with soda water and a shrug.
Can I bring my own drinks?
No outside beverages, ever, and bringing outside alcohol onto the property is actually illegal. Anything you buy at Jubilee gets enjoyed or left here.
Can I bring my own food?
When a food truck is on site, no outside food, with two sweet exceptions: snacks for kids and small celebration treats like birthday cakes. On truckless days, picnics are absolutely welcome.
Cash or card?
Both. Bring whichever your wallet prefers.
Seats, Blankets and Groups
Can I reserve a table?
Seating is first-come, first-served, no reservations. Early birds get the picnic tables. Contact us for groups of 15+ and we will do our best to accommodate.
Can I bring my own chair or a blanket?
Yes to lawn chairs, unless a specific event says otherwise, and blankets are always welcome. Stake out your patch of grass and settle in.
What about a big group?
If you're 15 or more, email us ahead of time and we'll rope off picnic tables so your crew lands together.
Comfort and Accessibility
Are there restrooms?
Yes indeed.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, guest Wi-Fi is on the house.
Is Jubilee Field wheelchair accessible?
Yes, with accessible paths, an accessible restroom, and parking near the entrance. If you can't reach the bar top, we'll bring table service to you, and if you tell us you're coming, we'll make sure you're set.
House Rules
Can I smoke or vape?
Only in the designated outdoor smoking areas next to the receptacles, never inside. Butts go in the receptacles, not the grass.
Can I take photos?
Casual photos for your own use, absolutely. Commercial photography or filming needs written permission from us first, and heads up: by entering the venue you may appear in our marketing.
Anything I can't bring or do?
No weapons of any kind, including firearms, and no mosh pits (we checked, joy doesn't require one). Shoes are required inside Field Bar and shirts are required everywhere.
Anything else Jubee wants us to know?
Please maintain control of your belongings at all times: your children, your friends, your personal items, and your squishmallows. Be good stewards and good neighbors, clean up after yourself, and help us keep this place joyful, safe, and welcoming for all.
Tickets and the Door
I lost my confirmation email. Can I still get in?
Yes, our crew can look you up by name at check-in. Just bring yourself.
I'm on a waitlist. Will you tell me if a spot opens?
Not automatically yet, so keep an eye on the event page. Spots that open show up there first.
The Galerie
What is the Galerie?
Our private event room next door at 537 E Burnett, 750 square feet with its own entrance, holding up to 53 guests. Showers, birthdays, dinners, little celebrations of every stripe.
What does it cost?
Rentals start at $250 for a 4-hour event. From there, price depends on your plans.
How do I hold my date?
A 50% deposit at contract signing holds the date. If you cancel, the deposit is forfeited, so book when you're sure.
When is everything due?
The balance is due 10 days before your event, along with a good-faith headcount estimate. Exact-to-the-person is not required, honest guessing is.
Does setup time count?
Yes, setup and breakdown happen inside your rented block, so plan your time with decorating and packing up in mind.
What's included?
Eight tables (two 4-footers, four 5-footers, one 6-footer, one 8-footer), 50 folding chairs, and the house sound system.
What if I need bigger sound?
A PA upgrade is available for an extra fee: 12-inch Harbinger tops, a 15-inch Yamaha sub, mixer, and mics.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, renters may bring their own food, just keep it within the Galerie.
What about alcohol?
All alcohol comes through Field Bar (that's our license talking), and a private bartender can be arranged for an additional fee if you'd like the bar to come to you.
Can I decorate?
Anything undamaging is fair game. Any damage gets repaired or paid for after the event, so hang your streamers with a light touch.
Do I need event insurance?
It depends on the specific event, and we'll decide that together when you book.
Is there a hard end time?
When nothing else is scheduled after you, the end time is flexible. When another event follows, there may be a hard stop, and renters tidy up per our closing rules either way.
