Jubee's 6s to 9s: Scarpetta

Pull up a chair and settle in for an evening of sound that blends through the decades. Scarpetta is joining us on the Field to weave together jazz, ragtime, classical, post-rock, and cinematic textures into something entirely their own. It is the kind of music that feels both wonderfully familiar and delightfully unexpected.

This talented Louisville trio brings an adventurous spirit to every song. Juju Cobb anchors the sound with a keyboard and percussion rig and vocals, while Moonwatcher adds bowed mandolin and melodica, and Dave weaves in a variety of woodwinds. Together with their extra vocals and percussion, they take listeners on a journey that moves effortlessly from uptempo danceable tunes to moody classical vibes.

Scarpetta has brought their unique artistry to wonderful local stages from the Fund for the Arts to Kentucky Shakespeare, and we are so glad to welcome them to our outdoor home. Come as you are, grab a drink from the bar, and let us cultivate some real connection under the open sky.

See you on the Field, Jubilee Field
